We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Helpdesk Apprentice to join our team and help keep our staff working smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager for Western Europe & Africa, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting and maintaining our IT systems while developing your technical skills.
Hours Per Week: 37
Days Per Week: Monday - Friday
Basis: Full Time and Fixed Term

The day to day
- Log and respond to IT issues and service requests, learning to communicate solutions clearly
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and regular maintenance tasks
- Help build, install, and support laptops, desktops, phones, and printers
- Support the maintenance of server room equipment like backups, switches, routers, and servers
- Travel to different locations when issues can’t be fixed remotely
- Work with third-party vendors as needed
- Help keep an inventory of IT equipment and assist with ordering components
- Keep the server room and supplies organised
The Essentials
- Keen interest in IT and a desire to learn
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of computers and software
- Willingness to travel to different locations when required
- Some experience or knowledge of Windows operating systems is a bonus, but not essential
- Motivation to develop technical skills in areas such as hardware, networking, and software support
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
