Procurement Practitioner Apprentice.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing Supplier Relationships: You’ll learn how to build strong, long-lasting relationships with suppliers, ensuring we’re getting the best value for money.
Negotiating Like a Pro: Get hands-on experience in negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers to ensure we’re getting the best deal.
Process Improvement: Work on optimising procurement processes, making sure we’re operating efficiently, saving costs, and staying ahead of the competition.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse market trends and supplier performance to make informed, strategic decisions.
Supporting the Procurement Team: Be a key part of the team, assisting with purchasing decisions, managing orders, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What We’re Looking For: We know you may not have a background in procurement yet, but we’d love to hear your passion for understanding more about suppliers and how procurement works.
Logical Thinker: You’re someone who can think logically and plan ahead, identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
Negotiation Skills: You’re a natural communicator with the ability to persuade and negotiate – whether it's securing a great deal or finding win-win solutions.
Attention to Detail: You’ll be managing contracts, prices, and supplier relationships, so you’ve got a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Excel and eager to learn the latest procurement software and tools.

Requirements of the role:
- GCSE grade 4/C in Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
- Left full time education.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Must not have a similar qualification at a higher level.
Pay And Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary of between £20,706 plus:-
- Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
- Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays).
- Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
- £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
