💼 About the Role

As an Apprentice Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development, inspection, and improvement of our quality standards. You’ll gain hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised qualification, learning how to ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards for our global customers.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting quality assurance across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service
• Analysing production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Monitoring and reducing internal scrap and rework
• Reporting and managing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Participating in cross-functional teams for product development and quality improvement
• Collaborating with suppliers and customers on quality matters
• Providing support across all areas of the quality team

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• A passion for engineering or manufacturing (some experience is a bonus!)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach
• A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Confidence to take initiative and lead without formal authority

• Fortress Interlocks HQ – Wolverhampton (WV4 6FB)
• Training Provider – Aldridge or Telford
