Apprenticeships Manager
United Learning is a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England. Central Office staff work closely with schools, offering a wealth of expertise to underpin schools' own knowledge.
Our specialist departments, including HR, finance, technology, strategy and performance, estates, and marketing, work alongside dedicated school improvement teams. By joining us, you will provide ongoing support to schools, ultimately improving the outcomes of our pupils.
Ready to lead operational excellence in apprenticeship delivery?
Are you an experienced FE and Skills manager with a passion for line management, great operations, and impactful education? If you’re ready to shape the day-to-day running of a high-performing apprenticeship provider, United Learning would love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a detail-driven and strategic Apprenticeships Manager to oversee operations, manage quality, and ensure our learners have the best possible experience. You’ll lead delivery teams, maintain compliance, and drive continual improvement across our growing national provision.
This is a full-time, hybrid role, with regular time in our Peterborough office. If you bring high standards, a learner-first mindset, and the ability to manage performance and compliance with confidence, get in touch.
About the role
Apprenticeships are a crucial part of our recruitment, retention, and development strategy. We have been an accredited provider since 2021, with our first cohorts completing their programmes in 2022/23. We aim to be the provider of choice in the education sector; delivering excellent quality apprenticeship training, tailored to colleagues in educational and business support roles in schools, nurseries, and other settings.
As our Apprenticeships Manager, you’ll take the lead in running our daily operations, ensuring all programmes meet Ofsted, DfE, and internal quality expectations. You’ll work across curriculum, compliance, digital systems, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring, all while leading and supporting an excellent team of delivery staff.
You’ll play a key role in helping us grow responsibly, sustain high achievement rates, and set the standard for quality in school-based apprenticeships.
