About the role
We have a new opportunity for an Arborist to join our team in Havant on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (35 hours per week).
We are looking for an enthusiastic Arborist to support our dedicated Estate Services Officer and become a key part of our friendly team. Based in Havant and surrounding areas, you will carry out a wide range of arboriculture work across our housing schemes helping us maintain safe environments for our residents.
In this hands-on role, you will conduct daily risk assessments and tree surveys and lead on safely delivering tree surgery tasks to a high standard. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help protect both our customers and colleagues. You will also ensure that all tools and equipment are in working order, supporting the smooth running of our operations and helping us deliver an exceptional service every day.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with a strong track record of safe tree surgery works, ensuring all works are carried out in line with Company procedures & policies, PPE, Health & Safety, Control of hazardous materials and in line with COSHH regulations. You will also have a clean, full UK licence and trailer licence.
You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to:
- Correctly complete the relevant certifications, reports & other documents
- Work methodically
- Operate safety considering environmental circumstances and risks
- Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational & time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Health & Safety knowledge
Qualifications
Essential
- Arborist Certification of CS30 to CS34, CS36 to CS47 (or equivalent)
Desirable
- ABC Level 2 certificate in Arboriculture
- Relevant qualifications associated to Grounds Maintenance
- PA1/PA6 competence in the safe use of pesticides
- 301 Fell and Process Trees over 380mm (F/504/0565)
- Arborist Certification of CS40 to CS41 (or equivalent) and relevant MEWP certification.
