About the Role

As our Area Manager you will lead a team of Site Managers and Marine sites with a focus on people, planning, production targets, standardisation and compliance - taking advantage of synergies within and between adjacent areas.

Responsibilities

Regularly monitors production against planned targets for the sites (Company & Third Party) within the area of responsibility and responds with necessary adjustments to minimise any deviation from the production targets.
Plans and co-ordinates key production tasks across all Marine sites within the area of responsibility.
Audits and enforces best practice, using the Marine Competency Framework, SOPs and other standards to improve performance.
Drives continuous improvement through KPI’s and the deployment of the Marine Production Strategy and plans – within the context of the overall and global core vision.
Supports each site in prioritising projects and tasks, understands the nuances of each site and manages the resources accordingly across the area to maximise efficacies of resources.
Coaches and mentors the Site Manager teams, ensuring development plans are in place for all Site Teams, mapped against the Competency Framework.
Promotes key confidence and competencies e.g., coaching, team leadership, understanding of planned targets.
