Due to several recent promotions, we’re expanding our team. To support this growth, we’re looking for an:

Area Sales Manager – North UK (Birmingham to Scotland)

A relationship builder with commercial drive and a heart for craftsmanship

As Area Sales Manager, you will work alongside the UK Country Manager to grow our presence in your region — from Birmingham to Scotland. You’ll nurture our existing dealer network, support end-users, and actively seek new opportunities. You’ll be the face of Rubio Monocoat in your region: a reliable partner, a skilled trainer, and an inspiring commercial force.

Your role and impact

• Translate our national goals into a strong local growth strategy for your region
• Proactively support and grow our dealer network and user base
• Plan and conduct structured one-on-one customer meetings, focusing on performance and partnership
• Lead training sessions and demonstrations — in-person and on-camera
• Collaborate with the Country Sales Manager and Social Media Manager to activate digital support in your area
• Identify new business opportunities and trends within your market
• Ensure alignment with internal policies and commercial objectives
• Solve challenges creatively and drive results with a long-term view

What you bring

• Experience in the woodcare, timber, or flooring industry is a strong advantage
• A commercial mindset with a passion for relationship-building
• Excellent communication skills — face-to-face, written, and digital
• A proactive, independent attitude and drive to make an impact
• Experience with CRM systems and strong organisational skills
• Willingness to travel frequently within your region (including occasional overnights)
• Confidence in speaking to larger groups and appearing in digital content
• A valid driver’s licence
