Job Title: Area Sales Manager
The Company
Celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, my client, is a revered British company, elevating wallpaper to a bona-fide work of art.
To this day, the Company still maintains the highest standards of craftmanship which, together with their reputation for innovative luxury products, has seen them hold a Royal Warrant for nearly 70 years.
Their international, loyal, customer base, comprises both high net worth individuals, together with architects, designers and other trade customers who, in turn, have adorned some of the Country’s greatest stately homes and historical landmarks with the Company’s quality products. A recent project has seen the Company collaborate with Harrods on a collection to celebrate the department stores 175th birthday.
The Job
As a key member of the sales team, you will be expected to spend approximately 60% of the working week visiting and generating sales from trade customers (Architects, Designers, Hoteliers) located throughout Central London.
Similarly, it is anticipated you will spend the remainder of the working week in their Showrooms in Chelsea, South West London, driving traffic to the Showroom, including helping to host receptions for collection launches, etc. Moreover you will be advising trade and high net worth customers with regard to the collections and luxury product range. As such, you will be delivering to Organisational objectives and “best in class” customer service.
The Individual
You will have a demonstrable track record of sales gained with luxury brands, coupled with a passion for interior design. Furthermore, you will be capable of communicating effectively with the most discerning of customers.
Highly resilient, with a thirst for success, you will be persuasive without being overbearing.
The Rewards
In return, the Company offer an attractive base salary (c£45,000 per annum) performance bonus, private health care, company pension and life assurance cover.
