The Role of Sales within UTAX
The Indirect Sales Department is responsible for developing and promoting the UTAX Brand in the UK to attract new business whilst supporting our existing dealer network. This includes developing new strategies, utilising technology developments, and ensuring everyone is kept up to date with our latest innovations. Our mission is to offer our partners an advantage over the competition to differentiate them and ensure mutual success. Our innovative team are responsive to market changes and buyer behaviours and offer a full range of business development options on behalf of our partners.
Overall Role Purpose The Area Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing business through the existing portfolio of clients in the defined area whilst also identifying and securing new business partners to help grow the business.
This role utilises exceptional sales skills to achieve (or exceed) the allocated personal sales targets, and activity targets assigned on an on-going basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Heads of Sales with the development and execution of the areas sales strategy and tactics.
- Provide effective recruitment and ongoing management of new dealers.
- Effective management of the area to ensure monthly / yearly turnover targets and recruitment targets are achieved.
- Work closely with channel partners to maximise sales revenue and devise partner development plans targeted at growth.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across all departments.
- Assist partners sales staff with end user visits to ensure sell-through.
- Ensure personal up to date product knowledge and ensure this is passed on the partner in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all administrative sales tasks, in compliance with internal procedures, including sales ordering, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Support the Heads of Sales and Senior Management Team with additional duties relevant to your skills and experiences, as required by the business.
