About the Role
We are seeking an Art Acquisitions Manager to lead the sourcing and acquisition of blue-chip artworks from owners of museum-quality pieces by world-renowned, canonical artists (e.g. Picasso, Monet, Rothko). This individual will play a key role in educating owners on our fund model and guiding them through the process of exchanging art assets for equity in our $500M investment vehicle.
The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, a robust global network across the fine art ecosystem, and a proven ability to structure complex transactions aligned with our fund’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Origination
- Identify and engage owners of investment-grade artworks seeking alternative liquidity options. Focus on works by globally recognised, historically significant artists.
- Portfolio Growth
- Drive the sourcing and execution of >$100M in fine art transactions annually, contributing significantly to portfolio diversification.
- Network Expansion
- Leverage and expand relationships with collectors, family offices, museums, foundations, institutional sellers, and private dealers to access off-market opportunities.
- Due Diligence & Valuation Oversight
- Coordinate authentication, provenance verification, and valuation processes to ensure asset quality and long-term investment potential.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Develop relationships with galleries, art advisors, institutions, and other intermediaries to enhance deal flow and transaction efficiency.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Art Investment Expertise
- Extensive experience in fine art acquisitions, investment management, or art finance, with a focus on high-value, blue-chip artworks.
- Established Network
- Demonstrated access to art sellers, brokers, and collectors across key markets (UK, US, Europe, etc.).
- Tax & Legal Fluency
- Familiarity with tax-advantaged transaction structures for fine art and cross-border deal considerations.
- Deal Execution Track Record
- Proven success in structuring and closing large, complex asset transactions.
- Entrepreneurial Approach
- Self-starter who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment and can independently drive results.

- A global network within the art, luxury, or alternative investment sectors
- Understanding of venture capital and growth equity structures
- Experience with art lending, fractionalization, or digital asset platforms
