We're excited to announce an opening for an Art Director to help steer the artistic vision of an exciting new open-world game. In this crucial role, you'll lead the art team in defining a cohesive visual experience while ensuring the artistic ambitions are effectively communicated across the project. Your expertise will help guide discipline leads in delivering exceptional quality throughout all stages of development, ensuring professional growth through mentorship and support.

As a creative leader, you will collaborate closely with the Technical Art team to tackle visual challenges, blending technical processes with elegant artistic choices. You'll engage with experienced peers across disciplines such as Design, Engineering, and Technical Art in a studio culture where collaboration is fundamental to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and champion the artistic vision for the project, maintaining the highest standards
Oversee and art direct all art sub-disciplines including Environment, Animation, and UI
Establish and uphold visual benchmarks and quality standards
Collaborate with the wider development team to creatively solve design challenges
Be a visible and inspiring leader within the studio

Requirements

Proven experience leading art direction on AAA projects
Strong understanding of the modern gaming landscape, including trends, features, and challenges
Extensive knowledge of current content creation tools and industry practices
A genuine passion for playing and creating video games

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on open-world game projects
Track record of shipping AAA titles
Proficiency with Unreal Engine
Diverse professional experience across various titles and genres
