Art Director – Always On Social 

📣Calling all social-first Art Directors!! We’re hiring.

Not Actual Size is a collective of creatives and strategists who build respect for brands. We are an independent, employee-owned B Corp,  working in partnership with Global brands such as Dove, Sure/Rexona, and Roche. 

Our services cover the creative spectrum – from truly social-first content creation to turning unseen insights into campaign ideas. We also never forget the beautiful basics and take pride in crafting product pages or lifestyle shots that truly resonate – for us, every detail matters. Our strategy team works closely with our creative team and client partners, providing data, insights and reporting to influence decisions and boost innovation.

Our team has been continually growing and we’re looking for big thinkers, dot joiners and meaning makers to join us – we have big plans for the future and are looking for an ambitious, proactive and experienced Art Director to join us.

A day in the life…

• Overseeing a small hub of social creatives to create always on content for a major beauty brand, facilitating brainstorms, reviewing ideas and copy, assessing which trends work best and what our unique angle might be
• Partnering with strategists to come up with and sell in ingenious ideas that get our clients excited, bringing cultural, human relevance to our work 
• Adeptly presenting ideas to client, building a relationship of trust and respect for your skills and perspective
• Having a hands-on approach to content creation, getting stuck in with the day-to-day – such as reference sourcing, storyboarding, sound research, editing – across pre-and-post production
• Applying a solid understanding of social-first visual and verbal language, with a keen understanding of platform best practices, possibilities and trends 
• Mentoring creatives, proactively looking for new ways to supercharge the team and elevate creative output

The right Senior Creative for the job will…

• Have 3+ years’ experience as a Social Creative or Art Director
• Be fully immersed in the world of social content creation for brands 
• Be ideas-obsessed, able to spot a social insight or trend with exciting creative potential 
• Be accustomed to working in a fast-paced agency environment
• Confidently present ideas to clients
• Confidently mentor junior creatives 
• Enjoy coming into the office, attending regular shoots and generally bonding with and inspiring the team
