The Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and resilient Assertive Outreach Worker to join our dedicated team in Bath.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be out in the community, building trust with new, repeat, and entrenched rough sleepers. You’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality, person-centred service that helps individuals take the first steps away from the streets and towards a more stable future.

You’ll need to be proactive, patient, and ready to face challenges head-on – from navigating setbacks to resolving conflicts. Your work will directly support the No Second Night Out approach, ensuring that no one spends a second night sleeping rough without being offered support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out needs and risk assessment with identified rough sleepers
  • Provide advice and information to provide an enabling service
  • Participate in street counts and audits

There are many great reasons to join our team!

  • Access to our Rewards Platform, which includes an Employee Assistance Programme and Health Cash Plan

  • For all the fantastic and valuable work you'll be doing makes you eligible for the Blue Light Card which offers amazing discounts on thousands of brands
  • A generous and competitive pension scheme
  • A supportive culture where staff feedback is highly valued and regular supervisions with line managers are conducted
  • 6 weekly Reflective Practice sessions from objective, external facilitators
