As part of the phenomenal growth SharkNinja EMEA has achieved over the last few years we have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Category Marketing Manager to join our Beauty team. The successful candidate will be supporting the Beauty Category team in driving awareness of the brand, category and select products within the Beauty portfolio.
This regional role will support all markets across EMEA. Working closely with the Senior Category Marketing Manager cross-functionally, you will have excellent project management and business acumen skills with the ability to manage several projects in parallel are a must to succeed in this fast-paced environment.
We are looking for fast thinking, with a broad spectrum of marketing and commercial ambition from supporting with storytelling to building commercial product and category plans; taking data and forming it into actionable insights.
As ambassador for the product group, you together with the Snr Category Marketing Manager along are the key drivers and points of contact for the US team, responsible for the creation and implementation of the annual Product Strategy and Brand Communication plan across EMEA. As assistant to your category lead, you will have management and strong influence over insight, packaging, messaging and claims, localization and roll out of marketing assets.
- Key interface role with EMEA Product Development, Marketing Comms, Studio and local countries to concept and execute 5 star launch tool kits in support of the agreed communication plan
- Excellent virtual management, communication skills balanced with sound business acumen. Capable of influencing, spotting smoke and thinking of way to overcome barriers to keep projects on track by region.
- Collaborate with Product Development team to set up SKUs
- Responsible for product launch materials and product launch communication specifically T2 content
- Deeply understand, interpret and champion the category, the market, its consumers, channels and competitors
- Actively make recommendations on how to respond to changes in the market and actual performance to update
- Understanding of Shark Ninja segmentation and customer audiences to set communications strategy
- The ACMM works cross functionally, seeking alignment with US and countries
Responsibilities
- Support on development of portfolio and category strategy, retailer sell-in decks, press kits and pro-actively update
- Partner with CI to run consumer testing, actively drive for best in class support materials to ensure we get the best results in market. Utilise results to advise on breakthrough claims, content such as packaging, digital, social
- Work with Studio and IMC to develop brand toolkits in line with the playbook. Manage the end-to-end process from brief, through to issue
- Manage all category packaging including translation matrices and translation into up to 25 languages

- Support with sampling plans and events
- Attend key category and cross-functional meetings to ensure you have an ear to the ground and can react quickly to changing plans and direction
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Essential hard skills:
- 3 years+ of experience in the area of Brand, Product, preferably within Beauty/Haircare
- EU/Multi matrix experience
- Packaging experience and working with creative studios and teams
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Strong numeracy/commercial acumen
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft office packages, especially excel
- Strong verbal, written and presentation abilities
