Assistant Brand Manager – Social & Community

📍 Location: London Bridge (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

📣 Team: Marketing & Creative

🧑‍💼 Reports to: Head of Marketing

We’re looking for a whip-smart, organised, socially switched-on human to help us plan scroll-stopping content, manage brilliant creators, nail the tone in every caption, and build a brand people love. You’ll be deep in the worlds of TikTok, Instagram, parenting newsletters, and influencer chat — helping turn sharp ideas into real brand impact.

The Role

This is a highly collaborative, organised, and socially savvy role focused on how we show up across digital and community channels — with a real-world impact on brand love, loyalty, and sales.

You’ll be the person turning ideas into action: managing content calendars, overseeing influencer partnerships, driving CRM campaigns, and listening to what parents are talking about — not just to sell, but to serve. You won’t be shooting or designing the content yourself — you’ll be briefing creators, giving thoughtful feedback, and making sure we consistently show up with the right message in the right places.

This is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience within an FMCG challenger brand, who’s ready to step up and take ownership across social, CRM, and influencer workstreams — and who gets the mindset of today’s parents.



What You’ll Own

1. Social & Content Calendar Execution

  • Own and manage our monthly social calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Meta — from briefing through to scheduling and reporting
  • Collaborate with creators and internal design team to produce social-first content
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on visuals and copy to align with brand tone and objectives
  • Write thumb-stopping, relatable captions and copy that reflects the Piccolo tongue-in-cheek tone of voice and resonates with modern parents
  • Use performance insights to inform future planning and iterations

2. Influencer & Creator Partnerships

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of our influencer programme — including sourcing, outreach, briefing, approvals and relationship management
  • Manage TikTok and UGC creator partnerships and track performance against KPIs
  • Identify creators aligned with our values, building an ongoing community of advocates – you’ll be their go-to contact!
  • Identify emerging TikTok and UGC talent, staying ahead of cultural conversations and trends

3. Community & CRM

  • Plan and produce our weekly brand newsletters — writing and coordinating assets with design support
  • Partner with Head of Digital to optimise flows and segmentation in our CRM
  • Engage with our community via comments, DMs and email replies — acting as a trusted voice of the brand
  • Support community growth with UGC sourcing, surprise-and-delight campaigns, and surveys

4. Campaign & Brand Support

·      Support execution across brand campaigns, launches, and seasonal moments

·      Brief and review creative to ensure it aligns with our visual and tonal identity

·      Keep an eye on competitors and parenting trends — share what’s happening and what we should try

·      Contribute fresh, strategic thinking in weekly team marketing meetings



What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a social media/digital or brand marketing role (ideally within a challenger, FMCG consumer brand working in the grocery space)
  • Proven project management skills — super organised and able to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • A sharp eye for content and a strong grasp of what makes a brand feel fresh, relevant and trustworthy
  • Confident copywriting skills — you can write in a conversational tone that resonates with modern families
  • Experience managing and scheduling social content (especially Instagram & TikTok)
  • Familiar with working with influencers, briefing creatives and managing approvals
  • Comfortable using (or learning) tools like Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Canva, and basic performance dashboards
  • Commercially aware and results-driven — you understand how brand actions connect to business goals
  • Passionate about growing brands with purpose
