ADAS Land, part of the RSK Group, is seeking to appoint Chartered Surveyors to support our continued growth across the infrastructure, utilities, rural and natural capital sectors. These are permanent, full-time positions offering significant autonomy, career progression, and the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant projects.
We are particularly interested in individuals with approximately 1–2 years post-qualification experience, though all levels of relevant experience will be considered.
About The Role
ADAS Land provides high-quality rural land and infrastructure advice to a wide range of clients across the UK. As part of our expanding business, you will play a key role in delivering professional services across a variety of infrastructure-based projects and natural capital. We are also looking for rural surveyors including those with knowledge and interest in natural capital. You will be working with ADAS Agricultural Advisors and have the experience of a company providing agricultural advice for nearly 80 Years.
You will be supported by the extensive technical knowledge, research capabilities and multi-disciplinary teams within both ADAS and the wider RSK Group.
This is a home-based role with national travel required. Overnight stays may be necessary depending on project location and requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising landowners, infrastructure providers, and developers on matters relating to:
- Acquisitions
- Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPS)
- Compulsory purchase work
- Property and land law matters
- Renewables and infrastructure
- Valuations
- Rural surveying including Estate
- Natural capital
- Build our business through internal referrals and wider business networking
- Develop relationships with existing and new clients
Candidate Profile
Essential
- MRICS and/or FAAV qualified (or working towards full qualification with suitable experience)
- Practical experience in infrastructure, utilities and renewable energy work
- Practical experience in rural surveying including natural capital
- Sound technical knowledge of infrastructure, utilities, rural property, land law, and land management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT competent
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience working on infrastructure or utility projects
- Knowledge of renewable energy and/or natural capital markets
- A strong interest in rural environmental matters
- The capabilities to expand network, identify new business opportunities, source new clients
