Are you an Assistant Company Secretary looking for a new opportunity with a FTSE 100 global technology company?
We’re looking for someone to join our growing team, based from our offices in the Shard, London Bridge or at our offices in Newcastle. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively as a team to maintain the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Secretariat.
The successful candidate will be CGI qualified with significant experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a broad role with a large amount of stakeholder interaction required across all functions and levels of the organisation. You will support the Deputy Company Secretary for the optimal performance of the Company Secretariat team.
Location – This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week out of our London or Newcastle.
What will I be involved in?
- Lead to produce a high-class Annual Report. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Manage the delivery of a successful AGM (including relevant filings) and AGM Notice and ancillaries and liaising with corporate lawyers and publishers.
- Draft and manage all PDMR Transaction including RNS, FCA filings, and timely release of regulatory announcements (e.g TR-1, Block Listings).
- Support the delivery of Board and Committee packs, assisting the Deputy Company Secretary.
- Insider List Management and manage Closed Period communication.
- Draft Board papers and policies for Board and Committee meetings.
- Support the team on complex global subsidiary matters. As a senior team member, you will be expected to advice the team and internal stakeholder on subsidiary compliance and governance.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a centralised and best in class company secretariat function to ensure all subsidiaries are subject to and meet the same, highest standards of corporate governance and best practice requirements.

- Ability to work in a fact paced environment, proactive and ability to keep focused under pressure, knowing when to move at pace and escalate when required.
- Extremely organised individual with the ability to work autonomously and prioritise multiple workstreams.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and ambiguous contexts and is a fast learner.
- Collaborative and keen to share knowledge with, and learn from, other team members, and represent the team to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders using appropriate styles and in a succinct and engaging manner.
- Develop strong relationships with a range of senior stakeholders to support delivery of constructive business outcomes.
- Experience in professional or financial services in the UK and multi-jurisdictional, client-facing role.
