You will be responsible for coordinating activities of a team to develop and maintain information requirements and standards, developing and managing processes within a common data environment. You will lead the delivery of information management function for project team.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Providing support to the Delivery Team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise, innovate, understand, develop and implement processes described within ISO19650 series, including how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
- Ensure security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.
- Monitor digital handover to completion.
- Participate in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
Reads, understands and supports the delivery of business process and procedures guides.
- Review current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
- Support construction sequencing strategy using information models.
- Support implementation of governance and assurance processes.
- Provide support in preparation of cost plans from information models.
- Support object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy.
- Support the development of BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Support the development of Information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
- Support the production of information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
- Provide support during the production of the Information Model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only).
- Understand and perform in line with Information Management Assignment Matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).
- Upskill the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with the Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way.
- Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have
- Experience with Autodesk Desktop Products, Validation and Verification Tools and
Visualisation Tools.
- Basic Understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, Computer Science Programming, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, and Classifications.
- Personal Effectiveness, Plans and organises, Collaborates and Networks, Solves Problems, Adapts and responds to change, Delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations
