Assistant Director, Education Improvement & Outcomes
Grade SMRC: £75201 - £95382 pa
We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and dedicated school and systems leader to join the Newham team as Assistant Director, Education Improvement & Outcomes. This is a new role within our Children’s Services team, reporting to the Director of Education & Inclusion. The role will involve leading and developing our approach to school improvement, quality assurance and support for schools. This is a pivotal role in coordinating and assuring the quality of our support of, work with and partnership approach for schools and education settings. This role will provide an experienced school leader with the opportunity to lead on developing our strategic approach in those areas, while ensuring that the voices of children and young people are embedded in our approach.
You will be an experienced teacher and school leader, with significant experience of supporting children to achieve excellent education outcomes and a proven passion for challenging inequalities. You will have demonstrable partnership-building skills, and an ability to work in partnership with schools, settings and other partners to provide the best possible opportunities for all children and young people in the Newham education system.
