We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and talented Assistant General Manager to join the Oncology service.
The successful candidate will have some strong operational management experience and will be expected to learn and develop withing the role as well as provide operational leadership for the Oncology department.
Candidates should have experience of working closely with multidisciplinary teams, leading service developments, data management and staff management. We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate effective communication skills, team working, excellent problem solving abilities and strong values based in line with the UCLH Trust values.
UCLH provides one of the largest oncology services, with teams delivering highly specialised care across a number of tumour sites; gastrointestinal, breast, gynaecological, urological, sarcoma, melanoma, brain, head and neck and lung. We work closely with University College London and other hospitals across Nort Central London so we the post holder will be expected to build and foster relationships with stakeholders across the sector.
The postholder will be predominantly responsible for Oncology inpatient and outpatient services across all adult tumour groups we look after, including some specialised services.
The postholder will be responsible for the day to day running of the service, effective management of budgets, workforce, performance and service improvements.
