Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of workforce supply in construction?
Balfour Beatty is looking for a highly organised and proactive
Labour Supply Lead to support the operational management of agency labour across live construction and maintenance projects.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with agency partners, site teams, and our managed service provider (MSP) to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining a compliant, high-performing labour supply chain that supports project delivery across the UK.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and overseeing temporary labour agency partners across multiple projects
- Acting as the first point of contact for site teams on agency workforce matters
- Monitoring agency performance with our MSP partner, Nutral – including fill rates and worker quality
- Ensuring supplier compliance with Workforce Assured accreditation and project-specific standards
- Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring workers are site-ready
- Analysing labour data to inform planning and performance reviews
- Aligning labour requests with preferred supplier lists and commercial terms
- Communicating changes in strategy, process, or supplier status to stakeholders
Who we're looking for
- Experience working in or alongside temporary labour agencies in construction or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of workforce supply challenges on active construction sites
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- A collaborative, responsive approach to supporting site teams and supply chain partners
- Confidence using workforce or project management systems and interpreting labour data
