Description

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts across our key client contracts including profit and loss account, balance sheet, cash flows, variance analysis, key performance indicators and supporting commentaries in line with agreed SLA and reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in producing financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist in providing accurate and meaningful analysis and supporting data to assist with key decision making at contract level
• Assist in the validating and uploading all monthly actual results, budgets and forecasts to the Group consolidation and reporting model in line with required deadlines
• Contribute and support projects as required
• Provide constructive challenge and input to ensure that opportunities and risks are identified, reported and addressed
  
  
  

Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant degree/studying towards AAT/first year chartered (ACCA/CIMA) or strong relevant experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction as part of a team
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Good computer skills with strong excel capability
• Flexible and able to support pinch points in workload, particularly at month-end
