Our products reflect the best of the seasons, and we take pride in delivering superb food. Our internal culture is built on respect, inclusion and a desire to grow. We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join one of our busiest store in Marylebone.

Location: Bayley & Sage, 33-34 Marylebone High St, London W1U 4QD

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for running shifts and assisting (and deputizing for) the Store Manager (when absent) to make sure the store operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis including ensuring full availability of stock, adequate staff cover, store is clean and presented beautifully inside and out, quality checks are carried out, all maintenance issues are dealt with swiftly, POS and labels are complete and in the correct place.
  • Responsible for supporting the Store Managers in the daily business operations of the stores .
  • Liaising with Head of Retail and Operations and Operations Controller regarding the new Store Openings
  • Assisting the Store Managers in organizing, planning and implementing strategy for generating maximum sales and minimizing wastage.
  • Assisting the Store Managers for delivery of sales, gross margin and labour, and targets.
  • Responsible for participating in training, developing and managing the team, ensuring the team is delivering outstanding customer service accordingly to Bayley & Sage standards.
  • Assisting the Store Managers for ensuring that the store is compliant with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and Company policy to include Food Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety, COSHH, HACCP, Manual handling and all areas of the business are clean, safe, organised, and compliant with current legislation and relevant company policy.
