We are looking for an assistant planner to join our Infrastructure team in Cambridgeshire, A428 – Black Cat Compound.
What you'll do:
- Assist in maintaining and updating main project programme, helping to prepare programme submission documents and internal reporting.
- Work with project team and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short-term programmes that align with the main programme.
- Ensure that the lookahead/supplier programmes are accurate and monitor supplier KPI’s.
- Lead collaborative planning and short-term programme sessions.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
- Experience of developing short term programmes for a section of works.
- Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
- Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.
- Relevant CSCS card
