Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Peterborough

Reports to: Sr Delivery Manager
Role Description:
To assist the Operational and Delivery team in the management of projects starting from RFQ’s to successful implementation. To support an end-to-end daily management of P&L Budgets and resources for the projects in conjunction with Sr Delivery Manager. Recruit & train engineers and build a strong, competent team. Providing technical support to site engineers whenever required.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Will be responsible for delivering the contracts/projects to customer standards, attend contract/project and progress review meetings, monitor, and continually improve the contract/project implementation within the timelines.
- Will be responsible for planning the implementation of the projects undertaken and resources required.
- To be a part of SLA agreed with Customers.
- Attend customer and vendor meetings; create action points on issues raised.
- Ensure a successful start to each new project.
- Assign work to project engineers and project coordinators as required to complete customer projects.
- Help with all managerial administration.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Executes project work plans and revises them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Project Management experience
- Effectively applies Genesis methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- A minimum of 5 years Mobile, Telecom experience
- CDCP Certification
- Knowledge of Build and Infrastructure experience of Deployment, Integration and commission
- Knowledge and practical experience of hardware and software platforms
- Multivendor experience
- Good office administration skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Will be required to be customer focused and able to handle sometimes difficult and technically able clients.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Communicate clearly and express self clearly in conversations and interactions with others.
- Clear business and technical writing skills.
- Solve problems by using a logical and systematic approach.
