An opportunity has arisen for a full time Assistant Psychologist to join South Manchester CAMHS based at the Carol Kendrick Centre in Wythenshawe.
The successful candidate must hold an Honours Degree in Psychology (at least Class 2 Division 1), a good understanding of psychological theory and interventions, and, ideally have experience of working with young people presenting with mental health problems.
Located within the Partnership stream of South Manchester CAMHS, you will be responsible for assisting CAMHS clinicians to deliver a broad range of assessment and therapeutic intervention for young people and families in South Manchester. You will be a key member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team

This post involves assisting in the delivery and development of South Manchester CAMHS and supporting CAMHS clinicians in their direct work with children and young people and their families.
The post holder will assist with a wide range of duties at all stages of service delivery - assessment, intervention, and evaluation. Duties may include the development of resources, audit and service development and support to group delivery.
The post holder will also be expected to assist CAMHS clinicians in the preparation, delivery and evaluation of a variety of clinical, teaching and research tasks. The post holder will act under the supervision of a Senior Clinical Psychologist and will receive regular supervision
