Assistant Quantity Surveyor

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting in the monitoring and analysis of project costs, budgets, and forecasts
• Supporting the preparation of cost reports, dashboards, and financial summaries
• Reviewing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Helping to produce variance reports and insights for internal stakeholders
• Using tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI to manage and present cost data
• Working closely with engineers, project managers, and commercial teams

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power BI or similar tools is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data
• Clear written and verbal communication
• A team player who can also work independently
• Enthusiasm to grow within a commercial or cost management environment

🎓 Ideal for Candidates Who Are

• On an apprenticeship or graduate pathway (e.g. quantity surveying, finance, engineering, or analytics)
• Working towards a relevant qualification (e.g. RICS, ECITB Level 6, or similar)
• Looking to gain hands-on experience in cost and commercial management on live projects
