The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Assistant Quarry Manager to join our team at Haughmond Hill, Shrewsbury. This is a hard rock quarry producing around 350,000 tonnes per year, with plans to grow you’ll have a real opportunity to impact the growth of this site and build your career with it.
Reporting to the Works Manager, you’ll partner with another Assistant Quarry Manager to oversee site operations, working a rotating shift pattern (06:00–14:00 & 10:00–18:00) and acting as 8.1d when required, you’ll support a site of roughly 20. Providing hands-on leadership across both mobile and fixed plant equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with quarry management experience, or a supervisor ready to step into management and develop their career in a growing operation.
