We are looking for a passionate and energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to work as part of the front of house team at Pizza East – Shoreditch.
Located in the iconic Tea Building in the heart of Shoreditch, Pizza East offers Italian, produce-led comfort food from wood fired pizzas to hearty lasagna, Italian shared plates with delicious drinks to match.
Open every day for lunch and dinner.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be expected to:
- Work effectively with the management team to ensure the operation runs smoothly
- Ensure all guests receive the highest levels of service from all members of the team
- Effective management of the floor ensuring the team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant and each service runs smoothly
- Lead the team by example; adopting a hands-on approach, can do, nothing is too much approach
- Ensure any guest queries are handled effectively and professionally and all guests leave with a positive dining experience
- Proactively work and support the General Manager and Management Team to grow the business
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous management experience within a premium high quality, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Have a passion for high quality food and delivering the highest levels of service
- Be a clear and concise communicator
- Have the ability to multi-task effectively
- Have awareness of how to manage costs and increase revenue
