Grade UOE05: £29,179 to £33,482 per annum plus 15% Premium Band for flexible working

Full Time: 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our flagship location – Canopy Courtyard & Kitchen, located at The Edinburgh Futures Institute, which opened in 2024. Based at the heart of the Meadows, in the beautifully renovated old Royal Infirmary, the operation consists of a 66 cover, contemporary Scottish Brasserie, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a more informal Grab & Go takeaway offer served during the day. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will support in all aspects of the day to day running of the operation; from delivering exceptional service and growing income to recruitment, team development, stock control, merchandising and achieving KPI’s. This is a hands-on role, where you will lead from the front, inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards. To succeed in this role, you will have experience as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader in a similar restaurant operation. As this restaurant has recently opened there is huge potential to make your mark as part of the management team and drive the business forward as a destination.
