Assistant Marketing Manager / Marketing Activation Manager (Foodservice & Trade)
We are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager/Senior Executive to join our team and support the Foodservice & Trade Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of impactful marketing initiatives. This role is key to activating the brand in the foodservice space amongst chefs and buyers, engaging prospects and customers, and supporting the wider marketing and sales teams across a variety of cross-functional projects.
What you’ll be doing?
- Website Management: Support the restructuring and ongoing maintenance of the Lee Kum Kee Professional website in collaboration with the Marketing Manager. Write and edit website copy, manage regular updates, and track key performance indicators such as traffic, audience engagement, and bounce rates using tools like Google Analytics. Liaise with in-house digital team to work together on agency briefing etc.
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain an integrated master campaign calendar, aligning all marketing activities—including campaigns, social media, PR, and events—into a cohesive plan. Work with the Marketing Manager in the execution of seasonal and sector-specific campaigns targeting chefs (e.g., Pubs, Casual Dining, QSR, Education) to influence target audiences, enhance brand engagement, and address specific customer needs.
- Sales Enablement: Work alongside Marketing Manager to repurpose brand, category, and campaign assets to create commercial toolkits and selling stories that empower the sales team to engage effectively with foodservice customers, during conversations & sales presentations.
- Event & Trade Show Management: Liaise with trade show organisers and stand build vendors to manage the end-to-end operational aspects of events, tradeshows, and sponsorship activations. Ensure all elements—including pre/during/post comms, product samples, collateral, stand build, logistics, and supplies are delivered to a high standard. Coordinate and oversee Lee Kum Kee–owned events, ensuring seamless execution and brand memorability
- Brand Awareness & PR Activation: Demonstrate a strong understanding of PR, trade events, social media, and experiential marketing, using these channels strategically and tactically to amplify Lee Kum Kee’s brand visibility and reputation within the foodservice trade sector.
- Chef Network Development: Work proactively with the Marketing Manager to grow, engage and nurture Lee Kum Kee’s chef network, forming meaningful connections that support community-building, brand advocacy, and customer insights.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Support day-to-day budget tracking, including managing purchase orders and invoices. Participate in vendor selection and ongoing management, ensuring cost-effectiveness, value, and quality of service.
- Cross-Functional & External Collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal teams including Foodservice Sales, Brand, category & Digital teams and corporate chef. Externally, be adept in managing agencies, media and chefs.
- Ad Hoc project support & leadership: Provide support on ad hoc sales & marketing initiatives as required, taking ownership where appropriate. This includes leading or contributing to cross-functional projects, pilot campaigns, trade promotions, and internal initiatives that further business objectives within the Foodservice & Trade channel.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in B2B Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Foodservice Marketing, and be
- Exceptional at internal & external stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate and align multiple priorities across teams and functions.
- Digitally savvy, with a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, content marketing, social media, and analytics.
- Experienced in PR and events, from strategic planning through to execution and post-activity evaluation.
- Organised and proactive, with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to timelines.
- A basic understand of wholesalers, buyers, end users and chefs and their needs and priorities
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and get involved whether supporting day-to-day tasks or identifying and driving new initiatives. Brings prior experience to the table, not just to learn, but to actively contribute, add value, and take ownership where appropriate.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant experience in a Foodservice Marketing role, ideally within the UK or Europe. However, candidates with relevant experience in other markets are also encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in written and spoken English with strong skills in Events Management
