Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a full-time, on-site position located in Shinfield, Reading. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and accessing community resources. Responsibilities include supporting the development of independence, helping to achieve personal goals, and providing emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs. You will work closely with a team to ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for those in your care.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, personal support, or working with individuals with complex needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build supportive relationships and communicate effectively
• Understanding of health and safety practices, safeguarding, and person-centered care
• Ability to promote independence, empathy, and dignity in all interactions
• Relevant certifications or training in social care or support work are a plus
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
• A valid driver’s license is an advantage but not mandatory
