Description
Kennedys is looking for an Associate to work in the Professional Liability team in Bristol, with experience of general Professional Liability defence work including claims against solicitors, brokers and financial professionals, and policy coverage disputes. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded and growing team.

Team


Kennedys' professional liability team deal with all areas of professional liability and handle claims of all sizes and complexity, including for insurers who underwrite some of the world's largest financial institutions, global law firms, the 'Big Four' accounting firms, as well as insurers who underwrite regional, local and smaller institutions and firms.

Required Experience


  • 1 to 3 years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience* in defending claims against professionals
  • Familiar with professional indemnity policies and coverage issues in the professional indemnity sector
  • Experience of assisting on large cases in a team environment as well as pro-active management of cases
  • Experience of engaging with clients in business development activities and contributing to thought leadership.
