Overview

A leading pan-European real estate investment and development platform is seeking an Associate (or strong Senior Associate stepping toward VP level) to join its Asset Management team in London. The firm manages a growing portfolio of urban / infill industrial and logistics assets across multiple European markets. This role offers significant exposure to leasing, value-add execution, stakeholder management and portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Income Growth

• Drive income growth through leasing strategies and broader asset management initiatives.
• Minimise vacancy by working closely with third-party leasing agents, sourcing occupiers and closing lease transactions.
• Negotiate new lettings end-to-end: from initial interest to final documentation, coordinating with external solicitors throughout.

Market Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local brokers, occupiers, community stakeholders and relevant authorities.
• Establish a strong market presence to enhance the visibility and reputation of the asset portfolio.
• Oversee creation and distribution of marketing materials for current and upcoming vacancies.
• Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, including location trends, competing supply and occupier demand.

Internal Coordination & Execution

• Collaborate with internal teams including investments, finance, design, legal, sales and marketing throughout the lifecycle of each deal.
• Review and analyse asset-level reporting including rent rolls, CapEx plans, financial statements and accounting files.
• Contribute to asset-level strategy, budgeting and financial reporting.

Portfolio & Stakeholder Management

• Manage and oversee third-party property managers to ensure optimal performance.
• Present market insights, asset strategies and transaction recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the continual enhancement of asset value through strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Key Requirements

• Strong leasing and asset management experience within industrial and logistics real estate.
• Solid experience underwriting lease transactions, working with DCF models, reviewing financials and negotiating LOIs and leases.
• Confidence liaising with solicitors and completing leasing documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and decision-making skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter capable of working independently and managing multiple assets simultaneously.
• Experience managing or overseeing third-party property managers.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn sector-specific systems.
• UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites as required.
• Must be London-based.
