The Role

Our client is seeking an Associate to join its Banking team in London, supporting complex financing transactions with an international dimension. This is a high-intensity, deal-driven practice suited to candidates who enjoy working at pace, taking ownership of workstreams, and contributing to market-leading transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting domestic and international banking transactions, including multi-jurisdictional financings
Drafting, reviewing and amending finance and ancillary documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity

Assisting with due diligence exercises and summarising key findings for transaction teams

Coordinating deal logistics and acting as a point of contact for clients, counterparties and advisers

Preparing legal research and internal or client-facing memoranda on transactional issues

Managing day-to-day aspects of transactions, ensuring deadlines and process milestones are met

Working closely with senior lawyers to progress matters efficiently and commercially

Candidate Profile

England & Wales qualified, or equivalent
1-5 PQE
Experience advising on finance-related documentation such as credit agreements, bond or capital markets instruments, and corporate approvals
Sound understanding of the legal and commercial risks in cross-border transactions
Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
