Associate Director - Financial Services M&A

Pearse Partners has partnered with a UK mid market corporate finance house looking to expand their Financial Services M&A team with an Associate Director from an IB or big 4/big 6 accountancy firm. Targeting a financial services background, but open to a generalist looking to specialise.

Key responsibilities:

• Originate and execute M&A transactions across the financial services sector, including asset-light, wealth management, and payments.
• Lead deal execution from start to finish, including managing due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, preparation of marketing materials, and negotiation of transaction documents.
• Build and manage client relationships.

Ideal Background:

• 7+ years working in a mid market IB or big 4/big 6 accountancy firm
• M&A deal experience across financial services
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skillset
• Excellent verbal and written communication
