Skills and Competencies

  • 5+ years of product or research methodology design experience, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Proven experience contributing to the design, development, or launch of AI- or ML-enabled solutions.
  • Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs), AI agents, context management, and agentic engineering, paired with hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience contributing to designing evaluation frameworks and observability for AI models in production.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices, especially in regulated industries.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to design human-in-the-loop systems, learning loops, and intuitive AI experiences that anticipate emerging user needs.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with AI engineers, domain experts, customers,aligning on goals and accelerating delivery through early prototyping, fast feedback loops, and continuous iteration.
  • Creative proactive problem-solver who balances speed of delivery with purposeful innovation and long-term product vision.
  • Passionate about shaping the future of AI-powered decision-making and translating innovation into trusted business outcomes.


Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the expansion of Moody’s AI and agentic capabilities across the product suite.
  • Deliver on the product roadmap for AI and agentic capabilities, ensuring alignment with customer needs, compliance, and third-party risk priorities.
  • Define and evolve high-impact agentic use cases across third-party risk, including onboarding, screening, due diligence, and policy configuration.
  • Translate user pain points into intelligent automation workflows, powered by Moody’s data and expertise, that deliver measurable business value.
  • Monitor major developments in AI field to identify opportunities in capability expansion, ecosystem partnerships, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead a cross-functional squad from problem to shipped solution, collaborating with AI engineering, data science, domain experts, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and data science to evaluate and integrate appropriate AI/ML models and architectures, supporting lifecycle performance and scalability.
  • Define, track, and refine KPIs and usage metrics specific to Generative AI, using insights to guide continuous product improvement.
  • Gather client and internal feedback post-launch to guide rapid product improvements.
  • Ensure responsible AI deployment, including governance, auditability, and content safety across use cases.
