Profile Summary
The Associate Field Service Engineer is primarily responsible to maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service business on Stryker’s products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. He/she delivers technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.

What You Will Do
- Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products
- Complete annual check and calibration according to MDR on customer site
- Utilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, access technical information
- Assist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safety notices and field action notices
- Fulfil Service contracts with planned maintenances
- Support Installation of Stryker systems on customer site
- Perform Software & Hardware Upgrades
- Efficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external reference
- Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools
- Provide technical support to Internal and external customers
- Escalate opportunities and issues appropriate team meetings
- Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer-initiated issues
- Ensure service provided is invoiced if not under warranty
What You Need
- Educated to degree level in engineering medical electronics and camera technology or equivalent, at least one of the following: Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Mechanical / Software, Medical Physics, Technology Subjects
- Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English and local language
- Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook)
- Previous experience in related field desired, ideally in the hospital / medical environment
- Full Driver’s license
- Ability to build relationship with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty
- Must be capable of working in a varied range of scenarios including the workshop, hospitals, and theatres with the ability to prioritize work and manage stress
- Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
- Must have a service- and quality-oriented mindset
- Ability to think independently, use sound judgment, prioritize, make quick decisions and problem-solve
- Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments
- Travel will be a regular occurrence within the defined region
