Associate Fullstack Developer - C# / React

The Role

As we build on our success and expand into new markets, we are looking for passionate and talented Software Developers to help us to keep our customers happy by building and improving highly concurrent event driven architectures, working with amazing technologists across multiple products in a mix of front and back end development.

Within the Platform Team here at Trayport we regularly appraise new technologies but our stack mainly consists of:

• TypeScript
• ReactJS
• .NET 8 - C# - ASP/WPF

If you are not an expert in these specific technologies but are familiar with an equivalent then we’re happy to train you.

The project you will be working on is:

• Full-stack
• Cross-team
• Delivering internally
• Building a robust ecosystem that facilitates low-cost, high-speed web development
• Supporting and expanding a web-first modular component communication framework designed internally
• Exposure to many technologies, many teams
• Good chance at earning a reputation within the department

Skills & Responsibilities

• Contribute to our projects using the above technologies
• Strong understanding of web technologies
• Some experience with open-source contribution is a huge benefit
• Collaborative development practices: your code MUST benefit other developers and not just be good code by itself
• Reviewing code in a constructive way, and supporting/mentoring developers to use best practices
• Writing documentation and offering guidance
• Genuine interest and willingness to go beyond just fulfilling acceptance criteria
• Willing to participate in and often lead technical discussions
• Commitment to high quality, maintainable code
• Happy to collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders
