We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance associate to join the Global Transportation Finance team in our London office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with partners and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. The Global Transportation Finance Group at Vedder Price is one of the largest and most experienced transportation finance practices in the world. Our London team is consistently recognised by Chambers UK , Chambers Global and The Legal 500 UK . Our clients come from a broad spectrum of industries, and we are involved in the financing of an extensive range of transactions for lessees and lessors, borrowers and lenders, private and public companies, manufacturers, underwriters and governmental agencies. You would join a global team of more than 60 lawyers representing major banks, leasing companies, airlines, hedge funds, private equity firms and other investors in a wide range of complex international and domestic transactions focusing on the financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition, restructuring and enforcement of aviation, rail, maritime and general equipment assets.

About You

• You have 1-3 years of post-qualification transactional experience at a law firm;
• You have finance experience within the aviation or maritime sectors;
• You have strong contract drafting and negotiating skills as well as organisational skills (as appropriate for your PQE level);
• You have experience managing multiple matters simultaneously; and
• You have strong academic credentials and are qualified (and are in good standing) in England & Wales.
