Associate Solicitor

Corporate, London, 4 years’ PQE

My client is seeking an experienced Corporate associate with a minimum of 4 years PQE to join the London team.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on and drafting articles of association, shareholders’ and investment agreements, partnership agreements, share option agreements (including EMI), client terms and board/shareholder resolutions

• Providing general Company law and Companies Act advice

• Leading smaller M&A transactions and assisting with larger ones, including SPAs, loan/facility/security documents, due diligence and transaction bibles

• Taking a prominent role in Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) transactions as part of the EOT team.

Client & Team Engagement

• Manage your own caseload and deal directly with clients

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Work across the wider Corporate team and support other practice areas as needed.

Supervision & Development

• Partners provide supervision, but the role offers responsibility and autonomy for capable lawyers

• As a smaller firm, the role is hands-on from the outset.
