Role Description
Join our Highways Design & Engineering team as an Associate Technical Director, where you’ll lead the delivery of major highways projects, manage and mentor a talented team, and build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders. At Arcadis, you'll help drive innovation and sustainability, working in a collaborative and inclusive environment that empowers you to make a positive impact.
Role Accountabilities
- Lead the successful delivery of complex highways design and engineering projects.
- Manage, develop, and mentor a diverse team of civil engineering professionals.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Oversee project performance, including financial, quality, and safety outcomes.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development.
Qualifications And Experience
- Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with significant experience in highways or civil engineering.
- Proven track record managing major projects and leading engineering teams.
- Strong client relationship and project management skills.
- Commitment to health, safety, and sustainable best practices.
- Inclusive leadership style, with the ability to mentor and support team growth.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
