About The Role
The Attorney Support Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible for leading and developing the Attorney Support team in the office, while e stablishing strategic and operational priorities. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with other department supervisors and managers regarding operational issues, and other logistical and resource requirements
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective support, communication, and alignment with support needs
- Developing and implementing strategies for both local and global Attorney Support functions
- Meeting and maintaining firm staffing goals by establishing effective and efficient assignments for attorneys and paralegals, and recommending appropriate reallocations
- Working with coordinators and supervisors to ensure coverage for both planned and unplanned absences, and arranging coverage as required
- Making recommendations in regard to resource planning and recruitment needs
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills (e.g., organising, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
- Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment, with a strong customer service focus
And have:
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
