Overview

A high-growth, international business in the technology and communications sector is seeking an experienced Interim Audit Manager to support its internal audit function during a key period of delivery. Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, this is a hands-on role with strong visibility across the senior leadership team.

You’ll be delivering a range of operational, commercial and financial audits end-to-end, working in a fast-paced environment where control frameworks are still maturing. The business operates with a flat structure and expects audit professionals to act with autonomy, commercial awareness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver internal audits from planning through to reporting and follow-up
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders (including VP and C-level)
• Provide practical recommendations that balance risk mitigation and commercial priorities
• Track and support the closure of management action plans
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the function, including the use of audit tooling and data analytics
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior audit staff

About You

• 6+ years’ experience in internal audit, ideally with time spent in complex, fast-moving organisations
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA)
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with a credible and pragmatic approach
• Comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity
• Confident using Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; exposure to analytics or automation tools is a plus
• Sector experience in telecoms, tech or regulated environments desirable but not essential
