Audit Manager – CASS (Financial Services) | London

I’m currently supporting a leading accountancy practice with the appointment of an Audit Manager to join their growing Financial Services & CASS Assurance team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced auditor with strong CASS exposure to step into a role that offers real influence, career progression and the chance to help shape a specialist service line that continues to see high demand across the market.

For CASS specialists, steps up can be considered from AM to Manager and Manager to Senior Manager.

The firm has ambitious growth plans, a supportive leadership team, and a strong pipeline of regulated clients. This position offers the chance to work closely with technical specialists, contribute to capability‑building initiatives, and play an active role in developing the next generation of CASS auditors.

The Role

In this position, you will:

Manage a portfolio of regulated audit clients, with a focus on FCA CASS reasonable assurance engagements.
Take responsibility for delivering high‑quality audit work within agreed timelines.

Support the resolution of technical matters, liaising with clients and internal specialists as needed.

Deliver and contribute to CASS training, helping enhance capability across the wider audit teams.

Assist senior leaders with business development activity such as proposals, tender support and attending relevant industry events.

Work alongside advisory and technical colleagues on specialist CASS‑related projects.

What We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of client delivery, technical problem‑solving, and people development. The ideal candidate will bring:

ACA / ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
Strong experience working on CASS audits, ideally covering areas such as CASS 7, CASS 8 and CASS 15.
Clear communication skills and the ability to coach, mentor and support junior team members.
Experience helping develop audit approaches, training materials or methodology would be an advantage.
A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and supporting the growth of a specialist team.
Right to work as sponsorship cannot be provided.
