Why join this committee?

This committee makes sure we maintain high standards in risk management and our auditing practices. This includes:

  • scrutiny of accounting and risk management policies, and investment decisions

  • review and approval of standing financial instructions.

You’ll gain an understanding of strategic decision making, the practical issues the Charity is facing and have a direct impact on our charitable objectives.

You will have a direct impact on our future, helping the Board fulfil its roles and responsibilities

  • a senior level of experience in a business environment and/or relevant qualifications
  • knowledge of governance good practice
  • an ability to think in a strategic, innovative, modern, agile and flexible way

Our independent vacancies are open to non-members with the relevant skills and experience. We’re keen to ensure our committees are diverse, inclusive and represent all parts of our membership. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
