We are seeking an experienced
Senior Audit Manager to join our expanding audit team, where you will manage a diverse portfolio of our larger more complex clients, including privately backed groups. Key Responsibilities
We’re seeking a driven
Senior Audit Manager to lead a diverse client portfolio, delivering audits under
FRS 102 and IFRS with minimal supervision. You’ll manage financial performance (WIP, billing, debt), mentor junior staff, and play a key role in client relationships and business development. Strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a proactive, commercial mindset are essential. This is a clear opportunity for progression, with support toward

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- At least 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice, with a focus on audit
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client and team relationships
- Proven track record managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders
- Trusted advisor to clients and colleagues, with a collaborative working style
- Delivers high-quality, technically sound work with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage heavy workloads
- Proactive problem-solver who keeps assignments on track and within budget
- Commercially minded, able to spot opportunities within existing client relationships and engage other service lines as needed
- Passionate about developing others, providing hands-on technical support and team mentorship
- Strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing standards (FRS102, IFRS)
- Experience leading group audits and preparing consolidated financial statements
- Familiarity with CaseWare and/or Mercia audit methodologies (desirable)
