We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with a background in the public sector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of software testing methodologies and proficiency in various automation tools.

Your role and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests in alignment with software development lifecycle stages.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
- Maintain existing automation scripts and frameworks, ensuring they remain up-to-date with system changes.
- Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs, working with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's testing practices and automation strategies.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as an Automation Tester in a public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience with toolsets like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications like ISTQB Advanced or ISEB are a plus.
