AVP, Cloud Engineer – FX Infrastructure
A global leading financial market infrastructure provider operating within Global FX is seeking an AVP to join their Infrastructure team, supporting AWS Public Cloud environments and the implementation of IaC using Terraform.
This role will be instrumental in building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions while ensuring the resilience and performance of FX systems. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you’ll help drive best practices across infrastructure automation and cloud adoption.
Location: Canary Wharf (Hybrid working)
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Bonus (Up to 20%)
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4 years working as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong experience supporting AWS Public Cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with Terraform.
- Solid background in infrastructure engineering and automation, creating CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Experience within financial services or trading environments (preferred).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
