Title: AWS Cloud Engineer - AWS Connect Specialist
Day Rate: £500 - £550pd (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract)
Based: One day per month in-office (UK-wide) / Fully remote considered for the right candidate
Required Experience:
Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services across multiple production environments.
Demonstrable experience delivering at least one project using Amazon Connect.
Strong practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch.
Background in architecting and building scalable, secure cloud-native applications.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Any exposure to contact centre technology or customer engagement platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust cloud solutions with a focus on high availability, security, and scalability.
Take ownership of integrating and optimising AWS Connect within existing infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners.
Maintain clear documentation and ensure infrastructure complies with best practices and security standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, driving improvements in performance and resilience.
Provide guidance and mentorship on AWS best practices across the team.
